Linksys Etherfast 10/100 -- not Tx stats

I have the same problem reported earlier on the list:

your earlier interaction, I downloaded and installed that latest driver,
today, from your site.  Here are the previous and current drivers we've
used:

As with the earlier report, we appear to be functioning properly, but we do
not have Tx stats for the EtherFast 10/100 (LNE100TX ver 5.1) on eth0:

# cat /proc/net/dev

If there is any other information that you need, please let me know.  This
appears to be a frequently asked question with no answers that I can find.
