OK, I switched to 'direct hardware access via Intel configuration
mechanism 1' (`lspci -v -H1`) and here are the results (I excluded all
the not-PCMCIA-linked devices):

:00:0b.0 CardBus bridge: Toshiba America Info Systems ToPIC95 PCI to Cardbus Bridge with ZV Support (rev 20)
:	Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems: Unknown device 0001
:	Flags: bus master, slow devsel, latency 64, IRQ 255
:	Memory at 14000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)
:	Bus: primary=00, secondary=14, subordinate=14, sec-latency=0
:	I/O window 0: 00000000-00000003
:	I/O window 1: 00000000-00000003
:	16-bit legacy interface ports at 0001

:14:00.0 Ethernet controller: Unknown device 1737:ab09 (rev 11)
:	Subsystem: Unknown device 1737:ab09
:	Flags: medium devsel
:	I/O ports at <unassigned> [disabled]
:	Memory at 60000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)

Something tells me ;) that the problem is hidden in the "Unknown
device 1737:ab09" line...
