We've run into an odd problem with some Tulip compatible boards installed in an SMP Intel machine running Linux kernel 2.4.21. I'd like to build the latest Tulip driver for this machine, but I'm confused about where to obtain the correct source code. I see at SourceForge that Jeff Garzik seems to be maintaining a Tulip driver, but the release information there is a bit confused and possibly stale. It's also not at all obvious what that site considers to be the "stable" release. Last time I checked (some time ago I admit) Donald Becker was the authoritative source of Tulip drivers, Is this still the case? Does Donald have any recommendation on what drivers to work with? If it's any help, the host we're having trouble with is runnning SuSE 8.1, and the logs say the boards are being driven by: "Linux Tulip driver version 0.9.15-pre11 (May 11, 2002)" Thanks, and also thanks for much trouble-free Tulip operation in years gone by. _______________________________________________ tulip mailing list, [email protected] To change to digest mode or unsubscribe visit http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/tulip
