Hello, We are using Micronet cards with 21143-PD chip. In the last 6 or 8 months Micronet has changed its phy chip on the card. It used to have kendin , then National VS29AC and now it is National VS27AB. In addition the rom chip has changed from philips to TI. We are running redHad 7.2 and experiencing the following problem: When the machine is booted sometime the link led is on , sometimes it is off. The same is inspected at the switch that the card is connected to Our questions are: - Is anybody aware to these changes Micronet has done? - Does anyone know if any additional/different initialization is needed for the new Micronet card (with phy VS27AB)? - Is there any new tulip driver that solves this problem. We appreciate any response. Chava Leviatan Flash Networks Ltd.
