Hi! I found some nicely-said-but-not-so-very-useful info on ASUS homepage about this 3c920 card: http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/p4r800-vm/overview.htm "3COM 10/100Mbps LAN enhanced with an ACPI management function to provide efficient power management for advanced operating systems. It also provides a remote wake-up function to increase cost-efficiency in network maintenance and management." Is it maybe possible that this ACPI and/or wake-up function interfere with normal operation? I found some reports of working 3c920 card with 3c59x, so it has to do something with this particular motherboard, right? Best wishes, Andrej _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
