ACPI maybe, wake-up probably not. If the kernels that you are running support ACPI, you could try starting them with "acpi=on" or "acpi=off" on the kernel command line; additionally, if possible, you could try switching ACPI off in BIOS. If you can run Windows on this machine, it would be worth as well trying to get it working with Windows, then a warm reboot into Linux; some components might be left in the right state by the Windows driver... > I found some reports of working 3c920 card with 3c59x, It seems that you do not have a 3c920 in that form, so such reports are not useful for the discussion. 920 is very close to 905C, such that 920 cards were able to function with 3c59x after only adding the PCI IDs. But what you have doesn't work like this... and has different PCI IDs as well. -- Bogdan Costescu IWR - Interdisziplinaeres Zentrum fuer Wissenschaftliches Rechnen Universitaet Heidelberg, INF 368, D-69120 Heidelberg, GERMANY Telephone: +49 6221 54 8869, Telefax: +49 6221 54 8868 E-mail: [email protected] _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
