I just checked my version of this card and lspci reports: 00:0c.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c905C-TX/TX-M [Tornado] (rev 78) And yet I get 100baseTx-FD as reported by mii-diag for instance. It's the same driver version: 00:0c.0: 3Com PCI 3c905C Tornado at 0xec00.
