problem with dual 3com card

i have a problem with the dual-cards from 3com.
i cannot set it into full-duplex mode just by issuing module-parameters
(neither options=0x204,0x204 nor full_duplex=1,1 works)

workaround is to use mii-diag, but i need to do it via
kernel-module-parameters. workaround for the workaround would be to fix
the switch, but this is not option, too :(
