Having a hell of a time getting a 2 nic card computer running RH 8
to pass packets from the internal network to the out side world.

Thought the hard part was going to be the network/routing
configuration but I can't get the critters to even talk to one another
to see if thats right.

Have down load the drivers from 3com but I'm not convienced that
the drivers auto loaded by RH during install are causing the
problem. Computer has a PCI bus and the card(s) configuration
during the install doesn't produce any problems that I can see.

ifconfig reports both cards are using IRQ11 memory address for
eth1 is 0x1000 and eth0 is 0x1400

eth1 is connected to the Internet and eth0 is connected via a
twisted pair CROSSED (checked) cable to the internal network.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Stew
