Hello, I can imagine your high mail traffic , so I can understand if you can't answer me but I try! I'm writing you with the hope you can give me an illumination with my trouble. This is my situation: I have a Linux redhat 7.3 Cluster (40 Biproc-nodes) with 3com 3C905CX-TX, I have network performance problems so I tried some old (not so much) 3Com 3c905 TX Etherlink Cards (I have 10). When I run my application this 10 computers go really faster (I mean for network wall time are equal to 40 nodes! ). I want to understand the reason of this low performance...is this a driver problem?or a chipset card problem? 3Com 3c905 TX Etherlink Cards are not produced anymore and I don't know how to resolv this problem (Do you know another good performance card?) thank you in advance Simone P.S. The kernel is 2.4.18-3smp _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
