W200 can not see ESSIDs

Hello,
I am running a W200 under a 2.6.3 kernel with the CVS driver code module
installed, and I am encountering a strange bug. The drivers compiled fine,
and the module is loading properly, but the card never seems to see any
networks.
The essid is alrealy set to use "ANY" via wireless tools, and even if I set
the essid to a known value of a network that is present, the card reports no
link.
Anyone got any ideas here?
