Wait, so having somebody paid to work on systemd
files is bad, but not having somebody paid to=C2=A0
work on the shell scripts that you like to use
instead is also bad?

Developers of any upstream project have a choice
where to put their efforts. If they choose to
support one style init system and not another,
that is their choice to make.
