Load balancing across multiple network paths

Hello,

First off, thanks to Peter and everyone behind enbd for such a great
tool.

I've been experimenting with enbd-server/enbd-client that can talk to
each other through two different network paths. The client is started
with both IP addresses of the server as aliases. When I do a long dd I
notice that both network interfaces are being used (confirmed also in
/proc/nbdinfo stats) but in alternation, not in parallel. The result is
that the total throughput ends up being the same as that of a single
NIC's.

Is that normal? According to the man page of the client, the throughput
should increase proportionally to the different network routes. Any
ideas?
