One thing that occurs to me is that it might be nice to make enbd synchronous by permitting only one request at a time to be treated. Or maybe not .. does the kernel expect answers back from swap i/o, or does it fire and forget? And what about error reporting and timeouts? Enbd can either report timeouts as errors, or block and retry. Wouldn't an error to swap be fatal for the kernel? Peter
