enbd-fr1 on 2.6.11.12 problems

I'm testing a new redundant setup with enbd and fr1 compiled on 2.6.11.12 kernel.

For testing purpose, i'm using Vmware virtual machines over my XP notbook.

All the redundancy stuff (heartbeat and co) is working as expected, nbd device is failed in raid 
when network is down, hotrepair works fine... But mounting the raid device freeze the system (not a 
real crash, i can open a new console, but mount process can't be killed and system can't be stopped 
cleanly).

So just a question : do you think that the problem is vmware-related (there's a lot of layers that 
may cause race conditions or deadlocks), or do i need to investigate furthermore as normally vmware 
setups are known to you to be useable for testing enbd-fr1 raid ?
