Impossible to answer - it is supposed to work.  But you can relatively
easily sever or take down a network connection (in various ways, some
unexpected), which may cause you some consternation.

This is nothing to do with enbd, but with your file system. Enbd is a
block device - it knows nothing about files.

I don't know what you mean.

Well, 1Mb/s is pretty low!  128KB/s.  To write one of your 60GB files
you would need 480 000 seconds. I suspect that that is on the order of
weeks. Umm .. 3600s per hour, 86400s per day, my mental arithmetic is 
giving out ... you need a week to write each file.
