(E)NBD vs AoE (ATA over Ethernet)

I have a requirement for remote file system access and NFS is not an 
option. My server side would be VxWorks 5.5 while my client side would be 
Linux 2.6. My client and server will always be on the same physical LAN. 
Does anyone have persuasive arguments in favour of NBD vs AoE?
