But the one thing you could do to get around that, is to temporarily move the FSIM for the underling filesystem (e.g. /lib/evms/2.5.5/ext2-1.1.13.so) somewhere else. That way EVMS won't recognize that there is a filesystem on the volume and ask if I should write zeros.
