Hi everyone.  I'm running gentoo 2007.0 with evms controlling all my
partitions.  I'm using the evms-2.5.5-initrd.  My /boot partition is
ext2 and a primary.  My slash part is ext2 and I've tried it both as
primary and extended.  I'm getting this error when I have
root=/dev/evms/slash:  rltd.c: 1173: dl_main: Assertion '(void *)
ph->p_vaddr == _rtld_local._dl_sysinfo_dso' failed!  Any ideas why this
is happening?  I don't get that error when I set root=/dev/hda1 (my
/boot) but it just says "linuxrc" not found which is what I would
expect.  Also it does not get to evms_initrd=pre_shell so I can poke
around inside initrd and see what is going on.  help?!?
