EVMS 2.5.5/Linux kernel 2.6.20.11/64-bit Intel Xeon !

We are using EVMS 2.5.5 on Linux kernel version 2.6.20.11
   
  When we were running this on a 32-bit processor, the EVMS was working fine. However, when we ran the same EVMS commands on the 64-bit processor, we find that the RAID set is not getting syncing but just marked as ‘Discovered’. We have taken the detailed output of the EVMS commands and we have attached the debug output.
   
  Are there any known issues in running EVMS 2.5.5 on a 64-bit  Intel Xeon ?
