I had a UPS failure during the process of an raid 5 expansion. Now I get following error message when I start evms:
Aug 12 16:45:11 MDRaid5RegMgr: The process to expand region md/md1 was interrupted. The orginal configuration will be restored.
Aug 12 16:45:11 MDRaid5RegMgr: Region md/md1: The MD superblock has old device major/minor number for object (sdc1). When this MD region is activated, the old device [254:4] will be replaced with new device [254:0].
Aug 12 16:45:11 MDRaid5RegMgr: Region md/md1: The MD superblock has old device major/minor number for object (sda1). When this MD region is activated, the old device [254:5] will be replaced with new device [254:1].
Aug 12 16:45:11 MDRaid5RegMgr: Region md/md1: The MD superblock has old device major/minor number for object (sdd1). When this MD region is activated, the old device [254:6] will be replaced with new device [254:2].
Aug 12 16:45:11 MDRaid5RegMgr: Region md/md1: The MD superblock has old device major/minor number for object (sdb1). When this MD region is activated, the old device [254:7] will be replaced with new device [254:3].
The array consists of 4 disks from the begining, each having one segment. The new array would consist of the original disks, and a raid0 region consisting of 3 segments located on 3 more disks.
