Renumbered MD arrays causes EVMS to fail

Hi,

I've upgraded my kernel to 2.6.17 from 2.6.9 and my raid arrays are now numbered differently than before causing evms to fail.

Previously :

md0 : raid1 with hda hdc

md1 : raid5 with sda sdb sdc sdd

now my sata disks are picked up first as md0, while the IDE disks become md1. My problem is that my raid5 array has an LVM2 volume above it, which can't be recreated anymore.

How can I either change the sequence in which they are identified or update EVMS to take into account the change ?
