Agreed - is there someone "higher up" at IBM that people on this list
can contact to show that there is still interest in the project, and
that there are IT people all over the world who would appreciate IBM
again putting some resources onto the project?

Of course the project is hosted on SourceForge so as long as the three
Project Admins remain contactable, they can allow other developers to
join the project and continue the maintenance. Once upon a time there
was a thing in SF where a project could ask for help on a sort of
bulletin board (help offered/help wanted). I just had a quick look but
can't find that any more. There was also a bounty system I think, where
a user could post a project's bug or feature request to a list and if a
developer did it, they got the money. Not sure if that still exists
either ...

Andrew.
