Confusion over 2.6.9 nfs-acl patches

Hello all,

I've got production servers using kernel version 2.6.1 with the nfs-acl
patches at present.

I'm looking to upgrade them all to 2.6.9, but I could do with a bit of
guidance re: patching.

If I am to use the patches from http://acl.bestbits.at/nfsacl/2.6.9-rc2/
- which ones do I need?
I am guessing at only nfs-acl and nfsd-acl, but I'm not sure. Does the
'series' file state in what order I should apply them?

Just one more; what kernel source should I be attempting to patch. I
downloaded a pristine 2.6.9 source package, from kernel.org but the
patches all seem to state different versions.

Do I 'have' to use quilt to manage the patches? I'm not very familiar
with it thus far.

It might be obvious that I'm not really a kernel-hacker, I'm just trying
to build the best network I can for my users.
Thanks for your help.

Ben
