You might be best advised to wait until 2.6.11 is out (which should
happen within the next few weeks). 2.6.11 will contain some xattr fixes
(in case you're using ext2 or ext3).

Grab the nfsacl patches from Andrew Morton's -mm series. I doubt that
they will make it into 2.6.11 as well, but it's not unlikely that we'll
have them in 2.6.12.

Right now, the most sensible choice probably would be to take the nfsacl
patches from 2.6.11-rc2-mm1 and make them apply to 2.6.10.

Alternatively, you could grab the older version of the patches from
http://acl.bestbits.at/nfsacl/2.6.9/ (I've just updated the patches for
you). Those apply to 2.6.9 as well as 2.6.10; I didn't check if they
compile correctly, though.) Note that the new version should give you
somewhat better performance, and also has improved umask handling. There
is a minor case of non-compliance with the POSIC acl draft standard;
it's described in more dezail in this patch:
