Hello Nathan,

thanks for your advice. After applying the patches for
Documentation/Configure.help and fs/Config.in from the latest version of
http://oss.sgi.com/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/linux-2.4-xfs/split-patches/acl-backpo
rt and activating CONFIG_XFS_POSIX_ACL it now works like a charm.
