I'm running a cron script which dumps the ACLs of the entire system like this: getfacl -R / > permissions.dump But I get warnings like this: getfacl: Removing leading '/' from absolute path names getfacl: /proc/22036: No such file or directory This is a problem because I have to document every backup error (SOX compliance issues). So every day I have to document this. How can I have getfacl skip directories like /proc? CD Are you good enough?
