About: BeleniX is a new LiveCD distribution based on the version of

Changes: This is primarily a bugfix release with the addition of a few
utilities, including a Volume Control/mixer utility and a GUI tool to
manage Services or daemons. Thunderbird did not work in 0.2 due to some

About: Dar is a shell command that makes backup of a directory tree and
files. Its features include splitting archives over several files, CDs,
ZIPs, or floppies, compression, full or differential backups, proper
saving and restoration of hard links and extended attributes, remote
backup using pipes and external command (such as ssh), and rearrangement
of the "slices" of an existing archive. It can now run commands between
slices, encrypt archives, and quickly retrieve individual files from
differential and full backups. Dar also has external GUI like kdar for
Linux, thanks to the well documented API.

added with the getuai service. The imgact service can also handle ELF

About: "jscpp" is an ANSI C preprocessor and language parser that can
analyze and instrument C code. Currently, its most prominent application
is to add tracing to existing C programs simply by recompiling and linking
it with the "jscc" compiler frontend. The standard tracing shows when a
function is entered or left along with the parameters passed or return
values. It is also possible to trace each source line and watch read/write
access to simple variables. Tracing is achieved by instrumenting the source
code before calling the system compiler. The program is modular and can be

About: rdiff-backup backs up one directory to another. The target
directory ends up a copy of the source directory, but extra reverse diffs
are stored in a special directory so you can still recover files lost some
time ago. The idea is to combine the best features of a mirror and an
incremental backup. rdiff-backup can also operate in a bandwidth-
efficient manner over a pipe, like rsync. Thus you can use rdiff-backup
and ssh to securely back up to a remote location, and only the differences
will be transmitted. It can also handle symlinks, device files,

About: RoadMap is a navigation program for Unix and PocketPC that displays
street maps. Most of the maps are provided by the US Census Bureau, and
thus only the US has a decent coverage at this time. A specific area can
be displayed by entering a street address (street number, street name,
city, and state). It interfaces with a GPS receiver through gpsd or the
serial line to track the car position. It has been designed to be usable
on a Linux desktop or laptop computer, or on a PDA (Linux or PocketPC).

About: wview is an application that controls a Davis Vantage Pro or
Vantage Pro2 weather station console to retrieve archive records and
current conditions. Archive records may optionally be stored in a
relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL). At a user-defined interval,
wview will use the archive history and current conditions to generate
weather images (buckets and graphs) and Web pages based on configurable
HTML templates. It supports serial and USB data loggers, as well as
connectivity with a terminal server or serial server via TCP sockets.
Changes: All references to LIST and LIST_ID were changed to RADLIST and
RADLIST_ID respectively to avoid namespace conflicts with newer versions
of MySQL. You must upgrade to radlib 2.5.0 or higher before installing
this version. DST change processing was improved by adding a timer to
allow the kernel GMT offset to be reset properly before re-initializing
the history data and resetting the VP console time and GMT offset. Some
build settings were modified to work properly with the new radlib
(libtool) build method.

About: Yet Another Time Machine is a command line Ogg Vorbis and MPEG
audio player with the ability to control the tempo of playback without
changing the pitch. Primary usage would be to listen (for example) to
audio books at 150% tempo. This is still understandable and saves time,
hence the name of the program.
Changes: Support for libsndfile was added as a decoding backend, which
enables use of all sorts of file formats in addition to the already
supported Ogg, Speex, and MPEG.
