About: aiParts is a set of C++ classes that implement artificial
intelligence techniques and some tiny sample programs. The classes
implement the pandemonium and emotion AI Patterns, and the High-Hope
technique. A "find the shortest path from A to B" sample program uses
subclasses of the High-Hope classes.
Changes: In this release, the High-Hope classes have been enhanced and two
minor bugs fixed. Decision groups are now supported. Logic using worst
decisions and failed decisions was added. A few other minor changes were
made. Beta testing and experimenting with hard and very hard problems is
now required.

About: Bogofilter is a Bayesian spam filter. In its normal mode of
operation, it takes an email message or other text on standard input, does
a statistical check against lists of "good" and "bad" words, and returns a
status code indicating whether or not the message is spam. Bogofilter is
designed with fast algorithms (including Berkeley DB system), coded
directly in C, and tuned for speed, so it can be used for production by
sites that process a lot of mail.
Changes: This is a release candidate for 1.0.0. TDB support was dropped.
Unicode (UTF-8 only) support was added. Berkeley DB transactional store no
longer needs lock table sizing. The SQLite3 driver is faster now and checks
the database library version to avoid accidents. Some SunOS, IRIX OS, and
MIPS architecture portability fixes were made. Several important fixes to
character set, HTML, binary attachment, and MIME processing were made. The
shell scripts should now work on any POSIX sh, not just bash. The
"undeclared charset" default is now ISO-8859-1.

About: Cammgr manages a collection of web cameras. It will bring cameras

two directories identical. It can be used to make an incremental copy of

About: The Flight Gear Flight Simulator project is a free, open-source,
multi-platform, cooperative flight sim development project. Source code
for the entire project is available and licensed under the GPL. The Flight
Gear project is working to create a sophisticated flight simulator
framework for the development and pursuit of interesting flight simulator
ideas. We are developing a good basic sim that can be expanded and
improved upon by anyone interested in contributing.
Changes: New plane models, 3D clouds, volumetric shadows, seasonal terrain
textures, air carrier operations, more weather effects, redout/blackout on
high G loads, heat haze, and more AI capabilities were added. A major
rework of the multiplayer code was done, with a WWW-based multiplayer
server status page (based on the Google Map). The GUI was also reworked,
and is more friendly to new users now; the ATC dialogs no longer impede
flying. A lot of bugs were fixed.

About: fwsnort translates snort rules into an equivalent iptables ruleset.
By making use of the iptables string match module, fwsnort can detect
application layer signatures which exist in many snort rules. fwsnort adds
a --hex-string option to iptables, which allows snort rules that contain
hex characters to be input directly into iptables rulesets without
modification. In addition, fwsnort makes use of the IPTables::Parse Perl
module in order to (optionally) restrict the snort rule translation to
only those rules that specify traffic that could potentially be allowed
through an existing iptables policy.
Changes: Updated to use the string match extension "--algo bm" argument if
fwsnort is being run on a 2.6.14 (or greater) kernel. Updated to handle the
Snort "offset" and "depth" keywords via the --from and --to options to the

About: prbeditor is an editor for Java property resource bundle files. The
application's intent is to help in the localization (l10n) of those
programs that have been internationalized with Java's standard i18n
mechanism. In contrast to other similar tools, it shows the keys and

global view of the resource files. The tool relies on the application of
regular expresions to organize the keys and filter the visibility of the

with one line per host. It can manage bandwidth to user-specified speeds
based on the u32 classifier, and can identify traffic by source,

limits the rate of connection in either a single or a bidirectional
fashion.

manage virtual domains within your qmail installation. It includes a CGI

modifies the user_add function (this is a fix for PostgreSQL 8). Jar files
were moved to PREFIX/lib/vq. The RPM package v-q-jdbc is now created only

for qmailvqd, "backup_deleted", is used to configure whether a user's
maildir should be saved during account removal.

About: Warsow is a standalone, eSport oriented FPS game. Its 3D engine is
based on Qfusion, a modification of the Quake 2 GPL engine. It features
fast-paced gameplay focused on trix (trick jumps) and art of movement. It
has a complete power-up system, including weak and strong fire mode for
each weapon. Its cartoonish graphics use cel shading with a style that is
similar but not identical to Manga.
Changes: Many UI and HUD improvements were made, like a serverlist
scrollbar, and help messages. Stair-smoothing prediction code was written.
New weapons settings were added. Two new player models, one new map, and a
couple new sounds were added. Many Linux and Win32 fixes were done. An
alpha version of Midair mode with 2 maps was implemented.

About: white_dune is a graphical VRML97 editor, simple NURBS/Superformula
