About: Email sends email to remote SMTP servers via the command line,
which makes it useful in cron jobs. It will send to any RFC standard
remote ESMTP server, and will allow you to encrypt, sign, and design your
message on the fly. It has the capability to use signature files with
dynamic options, address book functionality, and users can also attach
pictures, binary files, documents, or whatever they want. It is completely
compatible with GNUPG for encryption and signing, and is easy to configure
and use.
Changes: This release separates the email name and address and only
formats them in the headers. It only uses addresses surrounded by <:> as
per RFC 822 for the MAIL FROM: and RCPT TO: SMTP commands. It uses Dstrings
for reading the config file and address book. This fixes the MINBUF
limitations that were happening with very long Groups in the address book.
The ability to specify new headers on the command line has been added. \r
is handled in the address book so that Cygwin users don't have to put a
comment at the end of their lines.

About: The goal of MyChineseFlashCards is to ease the visual and auditory
memorization of the 1000 most used Chinese characters. To reach that goal,
MyChineseFlashcards allows the user to learn characters with flash cards
method; to access the characters of the dictionary in random, ascending,
or descending order; to filter the characters, using one of 31 available
filters; and to consult statistics on characters.
Changes: This release is available in German, Italian, Spanish, and
Chinese. The dictionary can be displayed in two dimensions. The user can
more easily and quickly find a character. The card displayer has been
improved. The application frame can be resized. The maximum play delay
(automatic navigation) has been increased by three fold. The meaning,
commentary, and memorizing tips can be hidden. 100 characters have been
added (600 in all). Bugs have been fixed.

About: nfswatch monitors all incoming network traffic on an NFS file
server and divides it into several categories. The number and percentage
of packets received in each category is displayed on the screen in a
continuously updated display. It can also monitors the NFS reply traffic
from a server in order to measure the response time for each RPC.
Changes: This release fixes a couple of serious buffer overflow bugs. All
users should upgrade to this version. Other changes were performed to
remove the remaining compiler warnings, and to get it to compile, using
GCC, on SGI/IRIX.

About: tenshi (formerly wasabi) is a log monitoring program designed to
watch a log file for lines matching user defined regular expressions and
report on the matches. The regular expressions are assigned to queues that
have an alert interval and a list of mail recipients. Queues can be set to
send a notification as soon as there is a log line assigned to them, or to
send periodic reports. Additionally, uninteresting fields in the log lines
(such as PID numbers) can be masked with the standard regular expression
grouping operators ( ). This allows cleaner and more readable reports. All
reports are separated by hostname and all messages are condensed when
possible.
Changes: Sanity checks were improved. Debug levels were added, and level 2
enables Net::SMTP debug messages. Getopt::Std was replaced with
Getopt::Long. The filter feature is now definable per queue. A special
noprefix queue was added for unprefixed logs. Supplementary groups
clearing when dropping privileges was added. An ISC-style license is now
used.
