Ever wonder why HP has seven consecutive years of Linux market share

Maybe it's our portfolio of best-of-breed partner products, or HP
value-add in management, high availability, and virtualization. Maybe it's
the integrated, consolidated infrastructure of HP BladeSystem,
single-source accountability and solution support from HP Services in 160
countries, or just our unwavering commitment to the open source community.

About: Adaptive Website Framework (AWF) is a modern content management
system and development framework. Most of its code is object-oriented and
very easy to extend. It features support for multiple Web sites and
languages, content versioning, caching, community portal functions (online
list, forums, instant messages, newsletters, weblogs, wiki, etc.), image
upload and galleries, a lexicon, a modular full-text search engine, an
auto repair function for database tables, XML and PDF export, and RSS and
LDAP support. Changes can be made on a preview site and published at a
later time on the live site. Fully flexible URLs allow the replacement of
existing static Web sites.

Changes: This release features rendering of LaTeX code, a new plugin
system for content objects, improved multi-language support, better SEO, a
Web shop (alpha version), and new templates. The Spaw WYSIWYG editor was
removed for security reasons.

Communications :: BBS
Internet :: WWW/HTTP :: Dynamic Content :: Message Boards

About: aterr is a threaded forum system, allowing registered visitors to
express their opinions, discuss topics, and debate with other visitors. A
threaded forum system differs from regular, flat forum systems in that
once posted, a thread can fork, allowing visitors to reply directly to
other posts. aterr also provides a customisable permissions system, the
ability to nest forums, and moderation tools.

Changes: This version is primarily a bugfix release, but adds two minor
features. The ability to delete a forum has been added to the
administration panel. It is only possible to delete a forum that does not
contain any posts or subforums. The RSS and Atom feeds have been converted
to use templates, so they can be easily customised. This release also fixes
the bug that prevented moving forums up and down in the forum order
properly. Upgrading will automatically correct the forum order to ensure
that forums can be moved.

Games/Entertainment
Games/Entertainment :: Multi-User Dungeons (MUD)
Games/Entertainment :: Role-Playing

About: Crossfire+ is a friendly fork of the crossfire multi-user RPG game.
Unlike the original project, it focuses mainly on stability and
playability, while also adding more maps and better scriptability and
graphics.

Changes: Two long-standing bugs have been fixed: disarming multiple traps
could send the server into a tight loop, and a buffer overflow when saving
maps that could be caused by users has been fixed. The economy system has
been mostly rewritten and rebalanced: bargaining skill now governs most of
the prices, and true prices are achievable for those with high skill. Last
not least, the server now prefetches maps from disk asynchronously, so
chances that loading a map freezes the server shortly under heavy I/O
situations have been greatly reduced.
