About: 123 Live Help is a Web-based chat server program designed for sales
representatives or support staff to engage in one-to-one chat with Web site
visitors. It is implemented with a Java server and a Flash client. Visitors
may be queued until an agent is available for chatting. A chat may be
transferred from one representative to another. Frequently used responses
can be predefined for quick use. Visitors may either chat anonymously as a

About: AntiCutAndPaste is designed to search for text fragments that have
been copied and pasted in programming language source code or plain text.
It has been tested on sources from large C++, Pascal, Java, and C# (Mono)
projects. The algorithms used are very fast and can handle up to three
million C++ code lines in one minute. Minor modifications of code are
ignored during the search. Reports are sorted conveniently by the total
size of all similar fragments and there are many report customization
options.

About: Appctl is a framework for virtually any server software. It
provides a central script called "ctl" which allows you to start, stop,
restart, maintain, or query the current status of an application. It is
meant as a completely generic replacement for application-specific
startup/stop scripts. The project also supplies generic monitoring scripts
for clusters, which can dramatically decrease clustering costs.

Changes: The "statuscheck" action was introduced. This action does the
same as "status" or "pidlist" but does not print anything on screen. Just
the exit value is set. The "pidlist" action now exits with the same exit
status as the "status" action. This improves usability when used within an
external script or program. An extra linefeed at the end of the output was
removed.

About: ASDF (A Simple DVD Frontend for MPlayer) is intended to make
watching DVDs with MPlayer easier. It's written in Perl using the Qt
toolkit. It provides an easy way to select the track you want to watch, as
well as audio and subtitle languages and deinterlacing. It also provides a
way to hide the short "empty" tracks that litter many DVDs.

Changes: This release provides some new features as well as a new Web site
and a screenshot. There has also been a bit of cleanup internally, and a
couple of minor bugs have been fixed. If the longest track is longer than
65 minutes, it will now be selected by default, even if it's not the first
track in the list. Chapters now have their length displayed. Numbers are
now padded to make them line up better.

About: cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs/DVDs with a
CDR/CDRW/DVD recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications.
It supports CD/DVD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc-
and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work. Supported features
include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data CDs,
and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable), DVD-R/-RW,
DVD+R/+RW, TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages. cdrtools
includes remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD/DVD
writers.

Changes: In cdrecord, DVD enhanced rzone information is printed, and the
-minfo/-media-info option was added to print media information and status.
Libscg now tries to work around a Linux design bug that prevented cdrecord
-scanbus on Linux-2.6. A new interface in libscg reports the maximum SCSI
bus number. In mkisofs, old bugs were fixed, graft-point support was
improved, and support for overapping/cumulating directories was improved.

in tiling and floating modes. Either mode can be applied dynamically,
optimizing the environment for the application in use and the task
performed. Windows can be tagged with one or multiple tags. Selecting

little brother of wmii.

About: Exiv2 is an EXIF and IPTC C++ library that makes reading and
writing Exif and Iptc metadata easy. It provides full Exif makernote and
thumbnail support. The Exiv2 command line utility prints Exif and Iptc
metadata including Makernote tags in various formats, adjusts Exif
timestamps, renames images according to the Exif timestamp, extracts and
inserts Exif and Iptc metadata and JPEG comments, or deletes the thumbnail
or a specific type of metadata from an image.

Changes: This is a bugfix release with just a few new features thrown in.
The exiv2 tool can now use the original filename when renaming images and
the library has pretty-print functions for Exif GPS tags.

Changes: On the Nokia 770, finger tapping now works in OS2006 version 2

various mobile phones/modems. It supports a wide variety of Nokia,
Symbian, and AT devices (Siemens, Alcatel, Falcom, WaveCom, IPAQ, Samsung,
SE, and others) over cables, infrared, or BlueTooth. It contains libraries
with functions for ringtones, phonebook, SMS, logos, WAP, date/time,
alarm, calls, and more (used by external applications like Wammu). It also
includes a command line utility that can make many things (including
backups) and an SMS gateway with full MySQL support from the PHP
interface.

Changes: Since the last stable version, support was improved for GCC 4.x,
and for many Nokia, SonyEricsson, Mitsubishi, and Siemens models. OBEX and
AT command support was improved. Mozilla integration was improved. Many
fixes were made.

Settings can be stored to the non- volatile RAM of the Webcam and a dump

the same time or else the PWC chipset refuses them. With some compilers,
setpwc would end up in an infinite loop. The serial number of the webcam
is now displayed. A man page was added. The -d option can now be anywhere

About: The WebTTY package allows any Linux terminal processes to be
controlled via a text area HTML element on a Web page. The output from the
server process is collected on the server side, and is sent to a textarea
element. Keypresses in the textarea are collected on the client side and
sent to the server process. WebTTY uses AJAX/DHTML patterns to achieve
in-page updates without refreshing the entire page.

Changes: Terminal emulation has been improved. For example, the Delete key
has been implemented, and the Tab, Up, and Down keys have been fixed for
FireFox. The JavaScript code has been rewritten in an OO style, and two
new JavaScript objects has been added - one for terminal emulation and one
for administration of active terminals. The administration widget will open
a slave window for every new process in order to display realtime activity
and to hold the log. The windows will accumulate but can be manually
closed by the administrator.
