About: bib2xhtml is a program that converts BibTeX files into HTML
(specifically, XHTML 1.0). The conversion is mostly done by specialized
BibTeX style files, derived from a converted bibliography style template.
This ensures that the original BibTeX styles are faithfully reproduced.
Some post-processing is performed by Perl code. This is an update of the
bib2html program written by David Hull in 1996 and maintained by him until
1998.
Changes: This version adds an option for specifying how extended file
information is displayed. This can be used for including PDF file icons or
providing more descriptive names. In addition, it provides support for
counting and listing the number of pages in PDF documents, and documents a
previously undocumented option for specifying the file path to URL
mappings.

Education
Education :: Computer Aided Instruction (CAI)
Education :: Testing
About: LON-CAPA (The LearningOnline Network with CAPA) is a learning
content and course management system. It offers an underlying shared
content pool from which instructors across departmental and institutional
boundaries can assemble granular learning content for their courses. It
has strong assessment capabilities, both formative (homework and in-class
using wireless PDAs) and summative (online and bubblesheet exams), with a
one-source multiple-target strategy for the content. It offers students
portfolio space in which they can stage materials for submission to
projects, and provides a number of tools for synchronous and asynchronous
student-student and student-faculty communication. LON-CAPA scales well
with number of students, as load-balancing is possible across the whole
network of servers at participating institutions.
Changes: Some of the template pages in a course failed to initialize. The
MAXIMA environment did not start up correctly on SUSE distributions.
Escaping of the dollar sign in TeX environments did not work correctly.

System :: Operating System :: Linux Distributions
About: The openSUSE project is a community program sponsored by Novell. It
promotes the use of Linux everywhere, and provides free, easy access to the
openSUSE Linux distribution.

CDs, the user is offered the option to bring up network connection in
order to be able to install a remote add-on product together with
openSUSE. Lots of packages were renamed and split to create smaller
systems. This release is based on Linux kernel 2.6.22-rc4 and glibc 2.6,

actions at any point in a regular language, and to control non-determinism
in the resulting machines. It understands concatenation, union, kleene
star, subtraction, intersection, epsilon transitions, and various other
common operators. It also supports the construction of scanners and the
building of state machines using state charts. It can be used to create
very fast recognizers and parsers that are also robust.

code generation were made. An obscure bug in scanner code generation was
