About: aria2 is a utility for downloading files. It has completely new
design concept from its predecessor, Aria, and is written from scratch.
aria2 has a segmented downloading engine in its core. It can download one
file from multiple URLs or multiple connections from one URL. This results
in very high speed downloading, much faster than ordinary browsers. This
engine in was implemented in a single-thread model. The architecture is
clean and easy to extend. aria2 currently supports HTTP, FTP, and
BitTorrent. It also supports Metalink version 3.0.

Changes: This release adds a Dutch translation and fixes several bugs. The
file preallocation is now enabled by default.

About: bftpd is a very configurable Linux FTP server which can do chroot
without special configuration or directory preparation. It will work
out-of-the-box with almost no configuration required, and works on all
Unix variants tested. Most FTP commands are supported, and user
authentication is done via passwd/shadow or PAM. tar/gzip on-the-fly is
supported.

Changes: A minor bug was found and fixed that caused bftpd to not compile
on some 64-bit systems. Also, if bftpd cannot detect on what kind of
machine it is compiling, it assumes little-endian, which should be fine
for most home and small business setups.

About: C++ Sockets is a cross-platform C++ wrapper for BSD-style sockets.
It implements the TCP, UDP, ICMP, and SCTP transport layer protocols.
Implemented application layer protocols are HTTP/HTTPS (using OpenSSL),
SMTP (server), and Ajp/1.3 (server). Features include transparent SOCKS4
client support and asynchronous DNS. Included in the library are a number
of HTTP client functions such as GET/PUT/POST, and also Web server
framework components. 

Changes: The reset_read and reset_write methods were added to IFile
(File/MemFile). A MemFile read bug was fixed. A small fix for the
UdpSocket timestamp on Win32. Cookies were reworked in the Http framework.
A compile issue when compiling without openssl was solved.

About: collectd is a small and modular daemon which collects system
information periodically and provides means to store the values. Included
in the distribution are numerous plug-ins for collecting CPU, disk, and
memory usage, network interface and DNS traffic, network latency, database
statistics, and much more. Custom statistics can easily be added in a
number of ways, including execution of arbitrary programs and plug-ins
written in Perl. Advanced features include a powerful network code to
collect statistics for entire setups and SNMP integration to query network
equipment. 

Changes: Plugins have been added to query statistics from ipvs, memcached,
and nginx. Another new plugin counts the number of TCP connections to or
from a specific port. The possibility to split up the configuration into
multiple files has been added in form of the new "Include" configuration
option. The Perl plugin has been improved a lot; most notably, the
"EnableDebugger" option was added, which makes it easier to debug plugins
written in Perl. The SNMP plugin has been extended to handle more complex
scenarios, for example, by scaling values.

About: Cubulus is an analytic engine and a slice and dice Web interface on
top of a relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MonetDB at the
moment). It caches calculated cells and is able to parse basic MDX queries,
with a maximum of two dimensions cross-join on rows and/or on columns. It
includes hierarchical charts: the vertical boxes represent hierarchy "on
rows", and horizontal boxes represent data sets "on columns" scaled to the
"on rows" measure.

Changes: An iframe with a chart has a static height to fix rendering
problems in Firefox. Minor JavaScript errors were fixed, so now it works
in Firefox, Camino, and Safari.

About: Gnofract 4D is a Gnome-based program to draw fractals. What sets it
apart from other fractal programs (and makes it "4D") is the way that it
treats the Mandelbrot and Julia sets as different views of the same
four-dimensional fractal object. It contains a Fractint-compatible formula
compiler, allowing it to draw an unlimited number of fractal types, using
numerous coloring options.  

Changes: This release about renders about 30% faster than the previous
release. It also adds the ability to control the tolerance value used for
periodicity checking. Finally there are a number of bugfixes, including

About: GTKRawGallery is an image viewer with support for camera raw files.
It is also an album manager and conversion tool.

Changes: The gallery implementation was changed to make raw thumbnails
singly without preprocessing them all together. This permits you to enjoy
your photos immediately. The "Open with" function was switched into a new
thread so that it works without blocking. Now you can browse raw files
inside directories without write permission. A cache system was added to
improve pixbuf loading. All metadata recognized by Exiftool are preserved.
"Full Exif List" and "Hide Exif" buttons were added. The GUI colors are now

CM11A hardware module from X10. The CM11A will send remote control signals
over the power lines to remote modules within your house. HEYU can be run

random-lockup-on-startup problem that was manifesting itself on some
libc/pthread combinations. Domain verification now no longer happens on

can discuss posted pictures.
