About: AgileWiki is meant to create software systems which are fluid,
easily configured and can be reorganized on-the-fly to meet ever changing
requirements. It includes a COW-based database, the Rolonics programming
paradigm, and semantic inferencing. 

Changes: Rolonic Elements now support the dynamic creation of both
persistent and transient attributes. The RoleML script and the Document
Rolon Model both support the creation and assignment of values to Entries,
as well as the methods for arranging an ordered map. Sample 2 has been
converted to using JTransaction and the RoleML script.

About: Cacti is a complete frontend to RRDTool. It stores all of the
necessary information to create graphs and populate them with data in a
MySQL database. The frontend is completely PHP driven. Along with being
able to maintain graphs, data sources, and round robin archives in a
database, Cacti also handles the data gathering. There is SNMP support for
those used to creating traffic graphs with MRTG.

Changes: Several security vulnerabilities have been discovered and fixed.
In addition, multiple bugs related to the poller, graph generation, and
the UI have been corrected. A handful of small features also made it into
this release, including UI improvements and a new database repair utility.

of Hewlett-Packard Proliant servers. To accomplish this, you must have
installed the hpasm package. The plugin checks the health of processors,

alerts you if one of these components is faulty or operates outside its
normal parameters. 

Changes: Checking of RAID arrays (with the hpacucli command) was added.

About: Dada Mail is an intuitive, Web-based email list management system,
which runs on any hosting account that can execute custom CGI scripts.
Dada Mail is also a conceptual art project. Dada Mail handles double

searching, resending, and syndicating (through RSS or Atom) sent messages.
Dada Mail produces valid XHTML and sticks to best practices when creating

About: The DAViCal CalDAV Server (previously called the Really Simple
CalDAV Store) is a server implementation of the CalDAV protocol for
storing calendaring resources (iCalendar format) on a remote shared
server. An increasing number of calendar clients support the maintenance
of shared remote calendars through CalDAV including Mozilla Calendar
(Sunbird/Lightning), Evolution, Mulberry, Chandler, and soon Apple's iCal.
DAViCal supports basic delegation of read/write access among calendar users

server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a small
network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not in the

machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS with names
configured either in each host or in a central configuration file. Dnsmasq
supports static and dynamic DHCP leases and BOOTP/TFTP for network booting

About: Herrie is a command line music player. It has a split-screen file
manager and playlist interface and supports a number of file formats (MP3,
Ogg Vorbis, wave, FLAC, etc). It also has some nice features, including a
chroot() function for  untrusted setups (remote logins, parties, etc).
AudioScrobbler is also implemented using Curl.

Changes: This release adds full support for Debian GNU/kFreeBSD. It also
fixes a small bug that caused the application to get stuck during
shutdown. A Chinese translation has been contributed as well.

About: HylaFAX is a fax and paging system for Unix. It supports sending
facsimile, receiving facsimile, polled retrieval of facsimile, transparent
shared data use of the modem and sending alpha-numeric pages. The software
is structured around a client-server architecture. Fax modems may reside
on a single machine on a network and clients can submit outbound jobs from
any machine that can communicate with the machine on which the modems
reside. An access control mechanism is included to control which users on
which machines may access a server.

Changes: This release added faxmail to decode RFC2047 and a
ModemRaiseATCommands feature. Content-Description, Content-ID, and
Content-Disposition information are now passed to MIMEConverters.
waitfor:VCON support was added. "Old" protocol support was removed.
Resiliency after AT+FRH=3, NO CARRIER was improved. "Intelligent" RTFCC
was employed to use MH format when it is better. The jobid is passed into
*2fax converters.

About: JSummer is a tool to compute and check MD5, SHA-160, and SHA-256
message digest. There are console and GUI (SWT) versions. It contains a
console tool compatible with the GNU md5sum and sha1sum, and a graphical
interface. For Windows, there is an installer, an *.exe wrapper for the
Java version, and file menu entries. It features calculation of MD5,
SHA160, and SHA256 message digest, recursion of directories, and checking
of MD5, SHA160, and SHA256 message digest.

Changes: JAppRun has been replaced by launch4j. The Win32 installer has

About: kchmviewer is a CHM (Winhelp) files viewer written in Qt/ KDE. It
can be build as a stand-alone Qt-based application or a KDE application.
The main point is compatibility with non-English CHM files, including most
international character sets. It has the features set of standard viewer:
search (including non-English CHMs), bookmarking, font size changing,
index/content browsing, codepage support, and more.

Changes: Many bugs in handling problematic or even buggy CHM files were
fixed along with a couple of other bugs. A command line option was added
for searching through a table of contents (--stoc). The application can
now be built on MS Windows, and a binary is also available. Major changes
were made to the search engine.

About: Rsyslog is an enhanced multi-threaded syslogd. Among other
features, it offers support for on-demand disk buffering, reliable syslog
over TCP, writing to MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, fully configurable
output formats (including great timestamps), the ability to filter on any
part of the syslog message, and on-the-wire message compression. It is
designed as a drop-in replacement for stock syslogd and thus is able to
work with the same configuration file syntax. Of course, some enhanced
features require changing the configuration file, but in general, this
should be fairly easy. 

Changes: The main new feature is an SNMP trap sender that enables syslog
messages to be sent via SNMP traps. Otherwise, this is a stability update

OpenGroupware.Org (OGo) with  scalability in mind. The Inverse edition of
this  project has many feature enhancements: CalDAV  and GroupDAV

formats, and support for folder sharing and ACLs. The Web interface has
been rewritten in an AJAX fashion to provided a faster UI for the users,

About: Surftrackr is a log file analyser for squid and Dan's Guardian. It
is designed to allow per-user scrutiny and analysis of squid log files.
The program allows a non-technical user to extract information about Web
usage patterns, the type of information downloaded, the sites visited by
users, and the amount of information (per-byte or per-file) accessed. The
program runs from a Unix system via a Web browser, and uses Google Charts
to produce graphics. The intention is to augment or replace the use of
censorship software. 

Changes: Surftrackr has been updated to include ad-hoc searching of web
addresses, live intake of data from Squid or Dan's Guardian log files,
improved flagging of URLs and users, categorization of URLs according to
MIME type, and several bugfixes. The CGI directory for AJAX calls has also
been eliminated, making for easier setup and configuration.

About: task spooler is a Unix batch system where the tasks spooled run one
after the other. Each user in each system has his own job queue. The tasks
are run in the correct context (that of enqueue) from any shell/process,
and its output/results can be easily watched. It is very useful when you
know that your commands depend on a lot of RAM, a lot of disk use, give a
lot of output, or for whatever reason it's better not to run them at the
same time.

Changes: Many '-w' and '-t' options can be used to wait for a job to end.
'-t' and '-r' now work better when removing the last job from the queue.

About: Truecrypt Installer for Debian helps to get Truecrypt running with
a minimum of effort under Debian-based Linux systems (Debian and Ubuntu
are officially supported). Truecrypt is Open Source disk encryption
software which uses a concept of containers to store encrypted data. The
containers (or volumes) can be read transparently under Linux and Windows.
The installer creates installable *.deb packages from the Truecrypt
sources, and those debs can be used in turn to activate Truecrypt.

About: WebMySQL is a Web interface to a MySQL database server. It supports

About: wview is an application that controls a supported weather station
to retrieve archive records and current conditions. Archive records may
optionally be stored in a relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL). At a
user-defined interval, wview will use the archive history and current
conditions to generate weather images (buckets and graphs) and Web pages
based on configurable HTML templates. It supports serial and USB data
loggers, as well as connectivity with a terminal server or serial server
via TCP sockets. 

Changes: CWOP generation logic was changed so that packets are sent every
10 minutes and the transmission offset is based on the last
digit/character of the APRS call sign. A new HTML config script,
"wviewhtmlconfig", was added to simplify template setup for US/metric and
standard/extended data settings. The format of the "wviewftp.conf" file
was changed so that the FTP binary and arguments can be configured there
rather than hard-coded. The SQLDB_FULL_SYNC config value was added to
allow choice of either full sync of all archive data or partial sync from
the last database entry.
