About: Ananta makes it possible for unexperienced users to create a
professional high-quality Web site quickly, while keeping the codebase
clean and easy to build upon for both developers and designers. Ananta
produces valid XHTML 1.0 code, and uses almost no tables. Ananta aims to
be as search-engine friendly as possible, without using dirty tricks that
may eventually get you banned. Ananta tries to be as multifunctional as
possible without making things overly complicated. The UI tries to prevent
inexperienced users from causing irreversible damage.

Changes: A user profile page and links to user profiles on comments were
added. The ability to create dates, edit dates, and create content in the
database was added. Registration date was added and the email address of a
user can be seen in the database. The post date of comments was added in
the database. Email addresses on user profile pages are converted for spam
protection. Some minor notices were fixed.

anime series playback. It's part of the N Media Center package.

Changes: The Mono 1.2.5 framework is supported under Linux. Progress bar
seeking was tweaked a bit. Another registry bug was fixed: NMC crashed
when the settings couldn't be loaded from the registry under Linux. NMC
now finds the core engine under Linux correctly. A fullscreen bug in the
Win32 API was fixed. It does not concern Linux users.

About: Archive4J is an archive engine for large document collections
written in Java, i.e. a set of algorithmic tools and implementations that
make it possible to build a direct index of a document collection. In
particular, for each document some basic data can be recovered, such as
the length of the document in words, the list of distinct terms appearing
in the document, and the number of occurrences of each term in the
document (the count). Goals include a very high compression rate and very
fast random access. To obtain this result, Archive4J combines techniques
typical of search engines with succinct data structures.

About: Attal is a turn-based strategy game. You can play it in stand-alone
mode (against an AI) or against other human players through a network. This
game is open and themeable in order to allow new graphics, new rules, new
campaigns, and new scenarios. A scenario editor and a theme editor are
provided.

Changes: A resource management rewrite; local resources have been added.
Levels have been implemented. The ability to steal resources for creatures
has been added. Remote server control has been added. There are speed
improvements and refactoring of code. ThemeEditor has been improved.
Actions have been added to bases. Popup help has been added. There is a
better Debian package. Bugs have been fixed. This release has a Medieval
theme: the resources have been changed to be only Money, Wood, Iron, Food,
Diamond, and Population.

About: Bluewhite64 Linux is an unofficial port of Slackware Linux to the
AMD-64/EM64T architectures. It runs on 64-bit single or multicore AMD64

mimic the user experience of the Intel x86 distribution at its best. This

streaming tool. It supports ShoutCast and IceCast. butt runs on Linux, Mac
OS, and Windows.

Changes: dB values were added to the vu-meter. The network backend uses
non-blocking sockets. This prevents butt from hanging when unexpected
network errors occur. The songname can be updated from a textfile. Support
for more samplerates has been added. A crash when connecting to icecacst
server on Mac OS 10.4 has been fixed. A crash when changing the server
type from shoutcast to icecast has been fixed. Samplerate selection
problems have been fixed.

About: C++ ResourcePool is a library which can be used to pool resources
of every kind. It can also be used as an abstraction layer by providing a
unique API for different resources of similar resource types; the most
prominent examples are SQL databases. It includes a convenient way to
access MySQL and Oracle databases in the same way, so that changing from
MySQL to Oracle or vice-versa does not need big code changes.

Changes: The API to retrieve data from a SQLSelect command was redesigned.
The new interface decouples the application code from ResourcePool library
by introducing a new SQLFetcher class which acts as base class for the
process() method. A new example was added to illustrate the new interface.
The interface changes are not backwards compatible with prior releases, so
minor code changes are required in client applications.

About: cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs/DVDs with a
CDR/CDRW/DVD recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications.

include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data CDs,

About: CODESH (COllaborative DEvelopment SHell) is an automatic persistent
logbook for sessions of personal command line work. It records what and how
is being done, for private use/reuse and for sharing selected parts with
collaborators. It is an intelligent shell that automatically logs user's
shell sessions. Sessions are uniquely tagged and stored in local or
distributed backend repositories (ASCII flat file or Subversion or CVS
based) and can be extracted and reproduced at any time by the user who
created the session or by collaborators located anywhere in the world.

Changes: This version improves the user interface for handling tags. Now
users can supply on the command line not only full tag names, but shorter
substrings as long as they are unique. In case of ambiguities, a list of
matching tags to chose from is returned. The taking of snapshots is
improved: the user is asked before taking a snapshot if it exceeds 2048
kB, and the possibility to enter an infinite loop if the repository is
located below the snapshot directory is avoided.

About: DIAP is a set of Bash shell scripts to set up a system using three
backup nodes either between sites (e.g. between offices and homes) or over
WANs. The application provides a decentralized, self-contained and managed
storage utility. The emergence of a DVTL (Distributed Virtual Tape
Library) is the end result. Nodes can be dedicated to storage or used for
existing services over unused bandwidth. The scripts are a toolkit to help
users set up their own project, and to help the writer improve the system
and work in user space over SSH. The system is designed for robustness and
will be re-written in Perl.

Changes: fill_diap.sh was added to help a user load diap with correct
data. A worksheet calculation error was fixed.

About: GNetWatch is an application that offers real-time graphical
monitoring and analysis of network performance through SNMP and ICMP. To
get an instant view of the network state, data are collected, stored, and
displayed every few seconds. Two traffic generation modules are available.
The former can flood UDP packets of any size (jumbo frames for instance)
and tagged with any DiffServ/ToS flag for QoS and class of services
testing. The latter can generate a huge quantity of parallel requests to
any HTTP(s) server for Web application load testing. To automatically
discover new hosts, GNetWatch can make use of Ethereal/WireShark and later
invoke NMap to get information about the remote systems. Note that IPv6 and
SNMPv3 are fully supported by GNetWatch.

Changes: This update lets the user add their own probes by means of
generic actions that can spawn external processes or track the content of
external files. Some standard generic actions are also provided: remote
CPU load and remote free memory (using Windows Management Instrumentation
for MS Windows targets and system tools for Unix/Linux targets). The
documentation has been updated with these new features.

interaction, and multimedia (images, movies, and sounds). white_dune can
read, create and display VRML97 files and let the user change the
scenegraph/fields. It also has support for stereoscopic view via
"quadbuffer"-capable stereo visuals, and support for 3D input devices like
a joystick, spaceball, or magnetic tracker.

Changes: A parser error for X3DV InputOutput fields in PROTOs was fixed.
LabView Covise/COVER plugin extension node was added.
