Database
Documentation
Information Management
About: AgileWiki is meant to create software systems which are fluid,
easily configured and can be reorganized on-the-fly to meet ever changing
requirements. It includes a COW-based database, the Rolonics programming
paradigm, and semantic inferencing.
Changes: Transaction Abort is now working. ForkBranch is now working,
which means that all utilities (except RunScript and Browse) have now been
implemented and are working.

[002] - amavisd-new 2.6.1
by Mark Martinec (http://freshmeat.net/users/mmartinec/)
Sun, Jun 29th 2008 06:54
Communications :: Email :: Filters
About: amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable interface between
MTAs and one or more content checkers, including virus scanners, and/or the
Mail::SpamAssassin Perl module. It talks to an MTA via (E)SMTP or LMTP, or
by using helper programs. No timing gaps exist in the design, which could
cause a mail loss. It is normally positioned at or near a central mailer,
not necessarily where the user's mailboxes and final delivery takes place.
Changes: Default SQL clauses now join tables using both the partition_tag
and the mail_id fields, meeting needs for MySQL database partitioning. A
data type mismatch between SQL tables was fixed in README.sql-mysql.
Bounce-killer's false positives are now avoided in multipart/mixed messages
with an attached mail message. Privileges were dropped too early when
chrooting, causing chroot to fail. Access to uninitialized data in
amavis-milter was fixed. An new placeholder allows organizing a quarantine
by week number. A do_ascii decoder was disabled in the default list. The
use of my_require was reverted.

About: Asunder is a graphical audio CD ripper and encoder for Linux. You
can use it to save tracks from an audio CD as WAV, MP3, OGG, FLAC, and
WavPack. It has CDDB support and can create M3U playlists. It's independent
of any desktop environment. It can rip and encode at the same time. It aims
to make CD ripping as quick and easy as possible.
Changes: Several crashes were fixed. CDDB lookups no longer take as long
and don't fail when they shouldn't.

by Scarfy (http://freshmeat.net/users/Scarfy/)
Sun, Jun 29th 2008 18:06
Games/Entertainment :: Arcade
About: Blob Wars : Blob and Conquer is a 3rd person action shooter. With
the apparent defeat of Galdov and the reclaiming of the Fire, Time, Space,
and Reality Crystals, the Blobs' battle was only just beginning. Bob had
rescued many Blobs and fought many battles, but now he had an ever bigger
task ahead of him. The Blobs' homeworld is still littered with the alien
forces and Bob once again makes it his task to lead the counter attack. But
even without Galdov the aliens are still extremely well organised.
Changes: Screen resolution choices are now fixed at 800x600, 1024x768,
1280x1024, and 1900x1200. Some boss battles were made easier. Erroneous
"Mission Complete" notifications were fixed. PAK file related crashes were
fixed. There are other miscellaneous bug and level fixes, and some code
clean ups.

by kinneh (http://freshmeat.net/users/kinneh/)
Sun, Jun 29th 2008 15:39
Security
About: Hard Token Management Framework is an add-on to EJBCA Certificate
Authority, and communicates with the tokens through a PKCS11 interface. It
comes with a few ready-made modules that can be composed to fit the need of
the organization. It has many features, including basic card administration
and locking functions.

by John Dickson (http://freshmeat.net/users/captsens/)
Sun, Jun 29th 2008 07:01
Software Development :: Quality Assurance
About: JCR is a Web application for performing and managing formal code
reviews. Although it has some special logic for reviewing Java projects, it
can be used for reviews of any type of source code. JCR manages all stages
of the review process (initial project setup, individual review, joint
review meeting, post-review tidy-up), but it's mainly there to show diff
views of files that have changed and to allow comments to be made on any
line of any file marked for review.
Changes: This version includes a number of functional enhancements. The
most important are improved generation of file diffs, display of intra-line
diffs in files, keyboard navigation support when reviewing, and display of
modification stats (lines, diff chunks, and percentage change) for each
file. The keyboard navigation, in particular, speeds the review process up
markedly. There have been many other more minor enhancements, plus a number
of bugfixes. Changes from 0.6.2rc1 are mainly bugfixes.

Changes: Several improvements were made in the file copying
implementation. A different default value for the diff.unified option is
now allowed as well as explicit use of internal merge tools. Converting
from SVN has improved detection of tags (has also become optional),
improved branch handling, and better detection of file copies. The MQ
extension has better command help texts, and the -U option for qdiff was
implemented.

[033] - pypty 1.40
by Dan Stromberg (http://freshmeat.net/users/strombrg/)
Sun, Jun 29th 2008 06:53
System :: Logging
About: pypty is a tty logger aimed at heavy script(1) users who like to
(or would like to start to) log everything they do on important systems. It
creates one (or two, if you ask for timing data) file(s) per day. The
distribution also includes "script-replay", which is somewhat like the
traditional scriptreplay - that is, it's for replaying tty logs - but it
does not require timing data and lets you step forward and back in the log.
Changes: A bug was fixed where the window wouldn't be sized appropriately
unless window sizing data was being saved by the application.

of several activities. Task Coach is designed to deal with composite tasks.
Changes: This release optionally brings back the tabbed user interface
that was removed in the previous release, and fixes a few bugs.

Internet :: WWW/HTTP
Scientific/Engineering
About: wview is an application that controls a supported weather station
to retrieve archive records and current conditions. Archive records may
optionally be stored in a relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL). At a
user-defined interval, wview will use the archive history and current
conditions to generate weather images (buckets and graphs) and Web pages
based on configurable HTML templates. It supports serial and USB data
loggers, as well as connectivity with a terminal server or serial server
via TCP sockets.
Changes: The rain rate accumulator window was adjusted for the WS-2300. A
rain rate accumulator was added to the WMR918 station as the reported rain
rate from the station is inferior. The default source location for FTP
transfers was changed from $prefix/var/wview to $prefix/var/wview/img. Rain
tipper size support was added for Vantage Pro stations. Dual unit support
in charts and buckets was enhanced. A new HTML template was added,
"parameterlist.htx", which includes every HTML tag. Conversion of Sea Level
Pressure (SLP) to Station Pressure (SP) was modified in wvutils. The new
chrome skin was added.
