About: AstroBuffer is a CCD astrophotography image manipulation
application. It can open FITS and SBIG (st9) files. Contrast is adjustable
to view different backgrounds and ranges of an image. It can scale, shift,
rotate, and zoom in and out. Images can be aligned based on two star
alignment, and can be summed, subtracted, averaged, and divided. RGB color
images can be created from three images. Images can be saved as FITS or as
any format that QT supports.

Changes: This release uses PyQt4 and PyQwt5, and removes PyKDE. A software
binning feature was added. Other cosmetic changes were made.

About: Brain Workshop is an implementation of the Dual N-Back mental
exercise. This exercise is the only mental activity that is scientifically
proven to improve your short-term memory and fluid intelligence (IQ). The
game involves remembering a sequence of spoken letters and a sequence of
positions of a square at the same time. Brain Workshop includes an optional
Triple N-Back mode that introduces differently colored squares as a third
stimulus.

Changes: The ability to change trial time to anything from 2 to 5 seconds
was added. The applause sound now plays when a score of 80% is achieved. A
version check is now performed on launch. A workaround was added for the
pyglet.gl.ContextException error which occurs on certain video cards. A
more descriptive error message was added in case an old version of pyglet
is installed. A cosmetic issue with the session history label on Linux was
fixed. Minor UI enhancements were made.

proxies, and others. Options include text-only browsing (to save

options). Javascript is fully supported, and Flash is partially supported.

About: GAG is a Graphical Boot Manager with a lot of features. It doesn't
need a partition, it works with primary and extended partitions in every
hard disk, it has a lot of icons, it allows you to put passwords for each

GAG is overwritten. It includes extensive support for many languages and
keyboard types.

About: Granite Data Services (GDS) is an alternative to Adobe LiveCycle
(Flex 2) Data Services for J2EE application servers. It is not, however, a
drop-in replacement: you won't be able to simply deploy a Flex 2 Data
Services application into a Granite Data Services server without
modifications. The main goal of this project is to provide a framework for
Flex 2/EJB3/Spring/Seam/Guice/Pojo application development with full
AMF3/RemoteObject benefits. It has a Data Push feature implemented as AMF3

About: gumnut is a program to aid a group of people to perform cooperative
decentralized decision making. The text or GUI client can create, moderate,
and display proposals over a decentralized communication network (currently
gnutella). Proposals are text files with a simple naming convention that
uses the filename to describe field attributes (such as topic and
geographical location). Popular proposals are found by searching on one or
more of these fields and then calculating the support for each proposal
based on the number of occurrences on the network.

Changes: On the search results page of the GUI, the actions of clicking on

About: system-config-printer configures a CUPS server. It uses the CUPS
API (bound to Python with pycups) to do this. The communication with the
server is performed using IPP. As a result, it is equally able to configure
a remote CUPS server as a local one.

More improvements have been made to the SMB browser. Several bugs have been

Changes: This release implements most of the pieces to prevent
infinite-length circuit attacks (see proposal 110). A bug that might cause
exit relays to corrupt streams they send back was fixed. Address patterns
(e.g. 255.128.0.0/16) are allowed to appear in ExcludeNodes and
ExcludeExitNodes config options. A big pile of bugs was fixed.
