Changes: A bug in the autoconfiguration logic when using GCC 4.2 or 4.3 on

About: Jailer is a tool for model-based data exporting, schema browsing,
and rendering. It exports consistent, referentially intact row-sets from
relational databases. It removes obsolete data without violating integrity.
It is DBMS agnostic (by using JDBC), platform independent, and generates

Changes: A new "Closure Browser" dialog was added, which allows the user
to browse through the closure of a table. A reversal association's type can
be visualized in tree view. "Shortest path" analysis and rendering were

About: The PreludeDB Library provides an abstraction layer upon the type
and format of the database used to store Prelude (IDMEF) events. Prelude is
a hybrid Intrusion Detection framework implementing an open communication
layer for use by any security application. The library allows developers to
use the Prelude IDMEF database easily and efficiently without worrying
about SQL, and independently of the type/format of the database used.

Changes: preludedb-admin has a new 'count' command, printing the result of
a COUNT() on the database. preludedb-admin works on smaller sets of data to
prevent large retrieval errors. preludedb-admin handling of interrupted
transactions was improved. MySQL and SQLite detection under Mac OS X has
been fixed. This release will check whether the PostgreSQL version is
greater than or equal to 8.2.0, and use the new E'value' escape method when
available to avoid a warning.

About: MathMap is a GIMP plugin and a commandline tool which allows
distortion of images and animations specified by mathematical formulae. For
each pixel in the generated image, a script is evaluated which should
return a pixel value. The script can either refer to a pixel in the source

not only allows the generation of still images but also of animations.

Changes: The composer has been much improved visually. A Gaussian blur

About: MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way
messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking
APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python.
MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized
Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients
message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical
database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical
wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism. 

Changes: This release compiles again under Win32. A fork() vs forkpty()
option has been added to the ChildProcessDataIO class. Directory and
FilePathInfo classes have been added. There are other minor changes.

About: MyIpTrack is a PHP script that allows you to store the IP addresses
with which you connect to the Internet. It stores such information on a
text file. The information stored are the IP address, date and time, and
some notes. This is useful if you connect to the Internet with many
different providers (wireless networks, Internet cafes, etc.) and you want
to keep track of all the IPs you've used (and date and time). You can also
fill some notes for each such record. MyIpTrack only needs a Web server
with PHP; it stores the information in a text file.

package management when installing programs from source code. It uses the
LD_PRELOAD method to track package installations, and provides various

Changes: Some changes in the user interface of gpaco have been made. Gpaco
requires gtkmm 2.12 or higher now. There are no changes in the command line
interface.

About: phpLogCon is a Web front-end for syslog and other network event
data. It provides easy browsing and some basic analysis. Data are taken
from databases or plain syslog text files, so phpLogCon does not require
changes to an existing logging infrastructure. Depending on the log data
present, it can process syslog messages, Windows event log entries, and
some more exotic things. Its troubleshooting support enables users to
quickly find solutions to problems seen in the log data.

Changes: A few parsing issues with prior RFC 3164 syslog messages were
fixed. These messages are now correctly parsed, and do not cause any
parsing problems anymore.

About: plus4emu is a portable emulator of the Commodore Plus/4 computer.
It supports Windows and POSIX platforms (32 bit Windows, 32 and 64 bit
Linux, and Mac OS X have been tested). It implements accurate, high quality
hardware emulation, but the system requirements are higher than that of
most other emulators.

Changes: This release adds a C interface that allows using the emulator as
a shared library in other programs. It implements IEC level MPS-801 printer
emulation. A new button has been added to the debugger GUI to break only
when a branch is taken. There is more accurate PAL emulation. An LED
display is now also implemented for IEC level drive emulation. All required
ROM images are included with the emulator package. A bug in the 'Step over'
function of the debugger has been fixed. Support for D64 error information
has been fixed/improved. Many improvements have been made to the 'compress'
utility. There are various minor bugfixes and optimizations.

About: Reverse Snowflake Joins is a tool that parses SQL Select statements
and generates a diagram. In addition to joins, the diagram shows parts of
the underlying SQL directly in the diagram. For example x=30, GROUP BY
(year), SUM(profit), HAVING MIN(age) > 18.

About: s3d is a 3D network display server which can be used as a 3D
desktop environment. 

Changes: GLUT-specific parts were removed from the server. The server will

C++ compatible API headers (no ABI changes). Various bugs have been fixed.

About: Scalable OpenGroupware.org (SOGo) is a project  derived from
OpenGroupware.Org (OGo) with  scalability in mind. The Inverse edition of
this  project has many feature enhancements: CalDAV  and GroupDAV
compliance, full handling of vCard as  well as vCalendar/iCalendar formats,
and support for folder sharing and ACLs. The Web interface has been
rewritten in an AJAX fashion to provided a faster UI for the users,
consistency in look and feel with the Mozilla applications, and to reduce
the load of the transactions on the server.

Changes: This release fixes a bug where the search of contacts would be
done in authentication-only LDAP repositories. It adds the ability to
transfer an event from one calendar to another. It changes the look of the
Calendar module to match the look of Lightning 0.9. The event details now
appear when the user clicks on it. Internal links and CSS/Javascript
content are inhibited from HTML files embedded as attachments to email
messages. All icons have been updated to use those from Thunderbird 2 and
Lightning 0.9. Mail headers wouldn't be decoded correctly in certain
situations. Miscellaneous AJAX behaviors have been fixed and refined.

About: Sdictionary is a dictionary that uses its own dictionary format.
Unlike ptkdic or gtkdic, MySQL isn't needed; you can work with dictionary
files directly. It uses Unicode, meaning that words and articles all are in
UTF-8. There are two index levels, compression, and tools to convert from
text files to .dct and vice versa. A Perl/Tk version, libsdict, a C library
framework, and a Symbian version are available.

Changes: A navigation bug was fixed.

About: Talend Open Studio is an ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) tool.
Talend Open Studio can perform jobs that range from datawarehouse feeding
to database synchronization, as well as file format transformations. Its
graphical interface is made with Eclipse RCP, and data related scripts are
generated in Perl or Java. The application was designed to be extended with
components written by users. 

Changes: A JDBC metadata wizard was added. The ability to drag and drop

About: UMLGraph facilitates the declarative specification and drawing of
UML class and sequence diagrams. One can specify a class design using the
Java syntax complemented by Javadoc tags. Running the UmlGraph doclet on
the specification generates a Graphviz diagram specification that can be
automatically processed to create Postscript, GIF, SVG, JPEG, fig, or
Framemaker drawings. Similarly, sequence diagrams are specified using
declarative pic macros and compiled with the GNU plotutils pic2plot program

About: Urd is a Web-based Usenet binary download manager. It stores the
newsgroup information in a MySQL database and aggregates the articles into
sets of a single download (e.g. one album or movie). The Web interface can
be used to search with regular expressions. It uses its own downloading
daemon that has support for scheduling downloads and updating databases.

Changes: Many bugs have been fixed. Extended set info has been added. The
ability to share set info with other users has been added.
