About: Bash.Diff is a patch against Bash shell. In the main core, it adds
the following syntax: {a..b}; ${var|...}; then-else-fi to
for/while/until/case statements; try-block with string exception; <&lt+;
and, <<<<. As builtin, it adds the following: sscanf(3), <string.h>,
<ctype.h> wrappers; array, regex(3), stack, queue operations; GDBM, SQLite,
PostgreSQL, MySQL database interfaces; HTML template engine (BASP); Expat
XML parser interface; x-y char plot; DOS, CSV, Awk support; Libwebserver
interface; RPN calculator with <math.h> functions; and, GTK+2 interface for
GUI dialog.

Changes: This release adds a 'pcursor' builtin that provides a simple
stack of positional parameters. It is similar to when shell functions are
called, except here, users "push" and "pop" manually. Shell emulation of
'strtok(3)' is added, which is useful when delimiters are not same for all
tokens. Syntax for the 'strinterval' builtin has been changed to match
'matchinterval' for consistency. Finally, the 'monetra' builtin has been
added for parsing the Montra IP format, which is another card processing
middleware in the Retail/POS market.

About: Bazaar is a simple decentralized revision control system.
Decentralized revision control systems give users the ability to branch
remote repositories to a local context. Users can commit to local branches
without requiring special permission from the branches that they branched
from.

Changes: This release includes many bugfixes and a few performance and
feature improvements. "bzr rm" will now scan for missing files and remove
them, like how "bzr add" scans for unknown files and adds them. A bit more
polish has been applied to the stacking code. The b-tree indexing code has
been brought in, with an eye on using it in a future repository format.

About: fwknop implements an authorization scheme called Single Packet
Authorization that requires only a single encrypted packet to communicate
various pieces of information, including desired access through an iptables
or ipfw firewall policy and/or specific commands to execute on the target
system. The main application of this program is to protect services such as
SSH with an additional layer of security in order to make the exploitation
of vulnerabilities much more difficult. The authorization server works by
passively monitoring authorization packets via libpcap. Also supported is a
robust port knocking implementation based around iptables log messages.

Changes: This release adds support for gpg2 and fixes a bug where fwknop
would allow GnuPG to reference an options file (new directives
--gpg-use-options and GPG_USE_OPTIONS were added to override this). The
Windows UI has been updated to fix a bug in the timezone calculation from
the Windows system sending an SPA packet. GnuPG 'hQ' base64 encoded
prefixes are configurable. A bug in the handling of blacklisted IP
addresses has been fixed. The path to gpg or gpg2 is configurable via the
command line or access.conf file (so SOURCE stanzas can reference different
gpg paths).

About: gnoMint is a tool for easily creating and managing certification
authorities. It provides fancy visualization of all the pieces of
information that pertain to a CA, such as x509 certificates, CSRs, and
CRLs. gnoMint is currently capable of managing a CA that emits certificates
that are able to authenticate people or machines in VPNs (IPSec or other
protocols), secure HTTP communications with SSL/TLS, authenticate and
cipher HTTP communications through Web-client certificates, and sign or
crypt email messages.

Changes: Now it is possible to generate CRLs for all the CAs in the
hierarchy. Dependencies between certificate uses and certificate purposes.
A lot of autotools cleaning. Certificates (CA and non-CA) can be imported
from external files. A Swedish translation has been added. Expired
certificates appear only in the first CRL released after the expiration
date, according to RFC 5280. Subject and issuer key id are properly set,
according to RFC 5280. Only the first certificate in the database could
sign CSRs in password-protected databases; this has been fixed.

About: GNU Libidn is an implementation of the Stringprep, Punycode, and
IDNA specifications defined by the IETF Internationalized Domain Names
(IDN) working group. It is used to prepare internationalized strings (such
as domain name labels, usernames, and passwords) in order to increase the
likelihood that string input and string comparison work in ways that make
sense for typical users throughout the world. The library contains a
generic Stringprep implementation that does Unicode 3.2 NFKC normalization,
mapping and prohibition of characters, and bidirectional character
handling. Profiles for iSCSI, Kerberos 5, Nameprep, SASL, and XMPP are
included. Punycode and ASCII Compatible Encoding (ACE) via IDNA are
supported.

Changes: The commandline tool "idn" now accepts -n as a short form of
--nfkc. Compiler warnings have been fixed. Translations and gnulib files
have been updated.

About: LanguageTool is a style and grammar checker that currently supports
English, Polish, German, French, Dutch, and other languages to a different
degree. It scans the words and their part-of-speech tags for occurrences of
error patterns, which are defined in an XML file. More powerful error rules
can be written in Java. LanguageTool should be used after the spelling of a
text has been corrected.

Changes: A bug with OpenOffice.org 3.0 integration that could lead to
crashes has been fixed. The LanguageTool button in OpenOffice.org has been
moved to a better place. The error detection rules for French, Swedish, and
Russian have been updated. Note that this release only works with
OpenOffice.org 3.0rc3 or later.

also has a completely configurable user interface with Skin and Icon pack
support. It is written in C++ and comes with a GUI plugin using the Qt
widget set. Other plugins are also available, like basic MSN support.

Changes: This is mostly a bugfix release but with one big exception. The
Qt GUI has been fully ported to Qt4, gone through a makeover, and is now
available as a separate plugin.

About: LilyKDE is a set of tools to integrate the LilyPond music
typesetter into KDE. It consists of icon and MIME type information for
LilyPond files, a Kate plugin to run LilyPond and embed a preview with
clickable notes and error messages, and a Konqueror service menu.

Changes: The score wizard now uses \center-column for stacked instrument
names if LilyPond's version is 2.11.57 or higher. An Ambitus option has
been added to all vocal part types, showing the pitch range of that part at
the beginning of the staff. An example file with useful shortcut expansions
has been added, and there is an option to clear the log view on each
LilyPond run.

About: LiVES is a simple to use yet powerful video effects, editing,
conversion, and playback system aimed at the digital video artist and VJ.
It uses commonly available tools (Mplayer, ImageMagick, and GTK+), so it

IRIX, and openMosix. It can handle almost all types of video, and is fully
extendable through plugins and the included plugin builder tool. It can
also be controlled remotely using OSC.

Changes: Noisy output in the jack audio player was fixed. Multitrack
"insert gap" now inserts gaps in audio tracks. A possible crash in
multitrack audio playback is avoided. Creation of test RFX scripts works
again. Utilities no longer show "generate to clipboard...". The window
title is updated after changing clip speed. Initial parameter values are
now never ignored. The "textfun" effect has been further optimized.

About: Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm,
with very safe integrity checking and a user interface almost identical to
the one of bzip2. Lzip is only a data compressor, not an archiver. It has
no facilities for multiple files, encryption, or archive-splitting, but, in
the Unix tradition, relies on utilities such as GNU Tar for these tasks.
Lzip is very well suited for software distribution.

containing chords and MMA directives. It is very versatile and generates

and several demo songs. It is a command line driven program. It creates
MIDI files which need a sequencer or MIDI file play program.

Changes: A -T command line option to limit tracks generated. The
AllGrooves command makes it easy to change a set of parameters in a library
file. A Debian package has been added to the download section. New man
pages have been created for mma, mma-renum, and mma-libdoc. A simple math
parser has been added. You can use this anywhere a macro is valid. Anything
in $( )$ delimiters is evaluated (safely) using Python. There are many
bugfixes and library additions.

activity information. The statistics reported by sar concern I/O transfer

activities, and TTY statistics, among others. The sadf command may be used
to display data collected by sar in various formats. The iostat command

About: Vacuum Magic is a fast-paced action game. The point of the game is
using your magical vacuum field to collect food and defend against
monsters. Food and certain monsters can also be spat out and used as a
projectile against other monsters. Vacuum Magic can be played by up to six
players, either cooperatively or against each other.

Changes: This release introduces two important features that should help
new players get the hang of the game. The Target Practice game mode helps
the player practice their spitting power on bullseye targets that keep
getting harder to hit. There's a "Difficulty Level" setting that can be set
from Easy to Insane. A number of bugs have been fixed, including the
annoying "drop you to the desktop when you eat poison" bug.

About: V_Sim visualizes atomic structures such as crystals, grain
boundaries, molecules, and so on It can work with files either in binary
format or in plain text format. The rendering is done in pseudo-3D with
colored spheres to represent the atoms. The user can interact through many
functions to choose the view, the size of the atoms, their color, the
background color, the type of fog, and more. Moreover, V_Sim allows you to
export the view as images in GIF, PS, and other formats.

Changes: This release begins to add Python bindings. It is now possible to
create a rendering window, add or remove atoms, and make them move. The
masking plane capability has been ported. V_Sim now has an XML file in
which one can store many bits of information like picked nodes, created
surfaces, etc. Gaussian cube files and non-linear colored gradients are now
supported.

About: XSD is a W3C XML Schema to C++ translator. Provided with an XML
instance specification (XML Schema), it generates C++ classes that
represent the given vocabulary as well as parsing and serialization code.
You can then access the data stored in XML using types and functions that
semantically correspond to your application domain rather than dealing with
elements, attributes, and text in a direct representation of XML such as
DOM or SAX. XSD features support for in-memory and stream-oriented
processing models, comprehensive XML Schema feature coverage, easy
integration, and more.

Changes: For the in-memory C++/Tree mapping, support for locating object
model nodes with XPath queries has been added, automatic assignment of
namespace prefixes during serialization has been implemented,
polymorphism-aware object model comparison and printing is now supported,

It is designed to be very fast and efficient and very nice for the
programmer to work with. It is easily extensible, and you need only include

validation and creation (including db integration), a Smarty templating
system, PDF creation, session handling, and SMTP template-based email
sending.

Changes: This is the first major release in over two years and the most
significant update to the framework since its inception over six years ago.
It supports PHP 4 and 5, MemCached, and most database systems. A new
community-focused Web site, zoopframework.com, adds greatly-improved
documentation and collaboration resources.
