[001] - AgileWiki 10.1.2 (Element Model)
by Bill la Forge (http://freshmeat.net/users/laforge49/)

Database
Documentation
Information Management
About: AgileWiki is an SDK for assembling software systems which are
fluid, easily configured and can be reorganized on-the-fly to meet ever
changing requirements. It includes a COW-based database, the Rolonics
programming paradigm, and semantic inferencing.
Changes: Sleep & echo have been added to persistent arks--this was an
oversight. Sub-arks no longer support createBrowse and openArkDb. Invalid
commands are now handled properly. An exception which occurs while
processing a command in a sub-ark causes the ark to be restored, but in the
top-ark it forces the program to exit. OpenArkDb now works in the top ark.
The code in LocalArkReference has been fixed.

Thu, Nov 6th 2008 07:52
Scientific/Engineering :: Artificial Intelligence
About: aiParts is a set of C++ classes that can be used to implement
artificial intelligence, including classes that implement the HighHope
technique. Sample programs include "find the shortest path" and "assign
people and/or equipment to projects". A problem assembled from subclasses
of the High-Hope classes knows how to solve itself by searching for a good
solution.
Changes: This release includes rrproj, a new sample program which assigns
people and/or equipment to projects or events. README.txt was improved.

by Jason Heiss (http://freshmeat.net/users/jheiss/)
Thu, Nov 6th 2008 07:44
Internet :: WWW/HTTP
System :: Monitoring
System :: Networking
About: nVentory is a Ruby on Rails application to manage inventory in
multiple data centers. It can manage server functionality assignment,
customer/server assignment, racking, and more. It can track which servers
are doing what, and where they are in your data centers. It allows you to
visualize server locations and rack space with GUI tools.
Changes: The server was upgraded from Rails 2.0.2 to 2.1.1. Support was
added for queries on arbitrary associations. This allows you to query nodes
based on their datacenter. nVentory now maintains "virtual" assignments for
nodes based on the node group hierarchy. This makes working with the node
group hierarchy easier. The server now only returns data from the main
model by default. This allows you to request all of the nodes in the
database once you scale past 1000 nodes or so. A variety of other
miscellaneous bugs were fixed.

Internet :: WWW/HTTP :: Site Management
About: WordPress is a state-of-the-art, semantic, personal publishing
platform with a focus on aesthetics, Web standards, and usability. It was
born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architected personal publishing
system. While primarily geared towards functioning as a Weblog, WordPress
is also a flexible CMS capable of managing many types of Web sites. In
addition to the basic blog functions, it also has an integrated link
manager (e.g. for blogrolls), file attachments, XFN support, support for
stand-alone pages, Atom and RSS feeds for both content and comments,
blogging API support (Atom Publishing Protocol, Blogger, MetaWeblog, and
Movable Type APIs), spam blocking features, advanced cruft-free URL
generation, a flexible theme system, and an advanced plugin API.
Changes: Autosave fixes and automatic upgrade fixes were made. Some PHP
warnings and notices were eliminated. Avatars were added to the Edit Users
list. Rule fixes were rewritten for certain host setups. A first draft of
the contextual help tab was written.
