About: The Advanced Linux Sound Architecture is composed of several parts.
The first is a fully modularized sound driver which supports module
autoloading, devfs, isapnp autoconfiguration, and gives complete access to
analog audio, digital audio, control, mixer, synthesizer, DSP, MIDI, and
timer components of audio hardware. It also includes a fully-featured
kernel-level sequencer, a full compatibility layer for OSS/Free
applications, an object-oriented C library which covers and enhances the
ALSA kernel driver functionality for applications (client/server, plugins,
PCM sharing/multiplexing, PCM metering, etc.), an interactive configuration
program for the driver, and some simple utilities for basic management.

Changes: The CS5535 driver and the HDA drivers were enhanced. PXA2xx Core
support was improved. Several bugs were fixed. Code was cleaned up, and
building with recent kernels was fixed.

About: Ayam is a free 3D modelling environment for the RenderMan
interface. It features good RIB export, CSG (all RenderMan primitives
supported), and NURBS modelling. Features instancing, arbitrary number of

undo, console, and Tree-View with Drag-and-Drop support.

Changes: This release adds support for approximating curves and improves
the offset curves. Script objects now maintain individual parameter sets,
Gordon caps (from non-planar curves) are more robust. In addition, the
keyboard navigation and focus management in the GUI have been improved a
lot. The usual heap of bugfixes completes this release.

About: Bashrun is a simple application launcher for X11. It runs a bash
session within a small xterm window, thus conveniently providing all the
common bash features like readline, tab completion, and history.
Optionally, in combination with xdotool, the terminal is kept running in
the background, reducing startup time and saving system resources. A number
of other common XTerminals like urxvt or mrxvt are also supported. Other
features include key bindings for resizing the terminal on the fly.

Changes: New features include running commands in a terminal, copying
their output to the clipboard, setting up handler applications for certain
types of strings (e.g. URLs), and adding bookmarks to bash's command
completion list. Also, command line arguments have been added to control a
running instance of bashrun. The config file locations now adhere to the
XDG specification. Future updates will no longer require the user to
recreate the configuration files.

About: BitRock InstallBuilder allows you to create easy-to-use
multiplatform installers for Linux (x86/PPC/s390/x86_64/Itanium), Windows,

applications. The generated application installers have a native

OS X firewall warning thrown when running the installers was fixed. A new

About: blindRSS is a very simple browser-operated RSS reader. You can
click through the feeds in a sidebar, use the (hopefully self-explanatory)
icons next to them to manipulate them, and do all the other stuff a RSS
reader should do. It's programmed so that the feeds are reread by a cronjob
or daemon, while as much functionality as possible is done within the
client. Thus, the server only serves the data, not the markup.

Changes: This version now resizes the height of the feedlist and content
area according to browser window size on startup; feeds can now be put into
different categories of (theoretically) infinite depth for better
organization by adding pseudo-feeds with an empty URL. The database has
been changed to allow for a much faster download of feed content. A small
syntax error has also been fixed.

About: Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec
Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the
file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead.
It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.

Changes: This release is based on Debian Lenny with Kernel 2.6.26-8. A
Simplified Chinese interface was added. An option to reboot or shutdown
after clone is finished was added. Hardware and software info will be saved
in a clonezilla image. An option to generate MD5 or SHA1 checksums after an
image was saved was added. Running on serial console ttyS0 is supported.
Some more info will be saved in the image dir. Some bugs were fixed.

About: htable is a lightweight implementation of hash tables in C, greatly
inspired by the implementations of spray and red-black trees found in *BSD
kernels. To use it, you only need to copy the header file "htable.h" into
your project.

Changes: Some minor corrections were applied to the manual, as well as to
the macro used to insert elements in hash table: it now returns NULL if the
element was already inserted before. A test was also implemented to check
this new behavior.

About: The LibXDiff library implements basic and yet complete
functionalities to create file differences/patches to both binary and text
files. It uses memory files as file abstraction to achieve both performance
and portability. For binary files, it implements both (with some
modification) the algorithm described in "File System Support for Delta
Compression" by Joshua P. MacDonald and the algorithm described in
"Fingerprinting By Random Polynomials" by Michael O. Rabin. For text files,
it follows directives described in "An O(ND) Difference Algorithm and Its

About: Zim is a WYSIWYG text editor written in Gtk2-Perl It aims to bring
the concept of a wiki to your desktop. Every page is saved as a text file
with wiki markup. Pages can contain links to other pages, and are saved
automatically. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a non-existing
page. Pages are ordered in a hierarchical structure that gives it the look
and feel of an outliner. This tool is intended to keep track of TODO lists
or to serve as a personal scratch book.

Changes: New features include proper support for Subversion version
control and support for auto-mounting encrypted directories. This release
