About: Backup Manager is a tool for generating archives easily. It is
designed for those who don't want an obfuscated tool for backing up their
system. It can make tar, tar.gz, tar.bz2, and zip archives, can perform
incremental backups, and can upload archives to remote hosts with FTP, SSH,
or RSYNC. It can be run in a parallel mode with different configuration
files. The configuration file is simple to understand. The backup process
can also be customized thanks to hook scripts.
Changes: This release fixes a bunch of bugs found in the previous release.
The most important bugs that were fixed are related to better support for
external programs used for archive creation. An annoying bug concerning the
SCP upload feature was also closed.

About: cppcheck is a static C/C++ code analyzer that checks for memory
leaks, mismatching allocation-deallocation, buffer overrun, and many more
problems. Its goal is to produce no false positives.
Changes: Extra include directories can be specified with -I. XML output
can be obtained through the --xml-results option. The program returns 0
only if no errors found (else EXIT_FAILURE). The .C and .c++ suffixes are
now allowed. New checks were added against using overlapping data in input
and output with sprintf, usage of a freed pointer, freeing a pointer that
has already been freed, and dangerous use of mktemp. Some checks were
removed since many compilers handle them well: unused variables,
unreachable code, and assignments in conditional expressions. Preprocessor
macros are handled.

About: Daikon is an implementation of dynamic detection of likely
invariants. An invariant is a property (such as "x=2*y+5" or
"this.next.prev = this" or "myarray is sorted by <") that holds at a
certain point or points in a program. Invariants are often seen in assert
statements, documentation, and formal specifications. Invariants can be
useful in program understanding and a host of other applications. Daikon
runs a program, observes the values that the program computes, and then
reports properties that were true over the observed executions. It can
detect properties in Java, C, C++, Perl, and IOA programs, in spreadsheet
files, and in other data sources.

About: Gslist is a console game server browser which is able to retrieve
the online servers by contacting the master server, master.gamespy.com. It
supports over 800 games for different platforms and has many options and
features, including the sending of heartbeats, the filtering of the servers

Changes: enctypeX was updated. A type was assigned to the various function

About: Turbulence is a general BEEP server that provides many site
administration features. Turbulence is built on top of the Vortex library
and is extensible through modules and allows you to implement server side
profiles that are used and combined later with other profiles through run
time configuration. Turbulence is written to make it easy to develop and
deploy BEEP profiles, allowing developers to provide a convenient
configuration interface to site administrators and end users.
Changes: A general update was done to make Turbulence work with the next
stable Vortex Library 1.1 series. It also includes general work to make
Turbulence run properly on Windows. Several bug fixes and changes were done

About: Xataface is a flexible and shapable skin that sits on top of MySQL,
making it accessible to every-day users. It automatically generates the
appropriate forms, lists, and menus for a user to interact with the
database without having to know any SQL. It is a full-featured Web

(using the simple INI-file syntax), templates, and plug-ins. A generic

About: The Xataface DataGrid Module is an add-on module for the Xataface
application framework that adds an editable grid component to your
applications. It uses the Ext JS JavaScript library to create the grid. It
allows users to edit records, add new rows, sort rows, reorder columns,
show/hide columns, and toggle to full-screen mode. Changes are
automatically saved in the background by AJAX. The module is fully
integrated into the Xataface permissions system.

About: Ximinez is a disk usage analyzer and comparator. It enables you to
take snapshots of disk usage for a given folder, to browse through the
snapshots, and to view differences between snapshots. It is aimed towards
solving problems like: "Why is my disk suddenly so full when it was OK just
recently?" Besides the GUI, the package also includes an optional command
line tool, which can be used, for example, in conjunction with a scheduler
to take snapshots on a regular basis.
Changes: Color settings pages were added. A "restart warning" message
window was replaced by a static note. A warning message now pops up the
user settings cannot be loaded (for example, at first startup).
