About: Asymptote is a powerful script-based vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like

About: The Bubbling Load Monitor (or "Bubblemon" for short) is a system
load monitor for the GNOME panel. It looks like a vial containing water.
The water level indicates how much (electronic) memory is in use. The
color of the liquid indicates how much swap space is used. The amount of
bubbles reflects the system CPU load. A message in a bottle indicates
there is unread mail. A reed-like graph shows network load.
Changes: Crashes when system time moves backwards (happens on systems
with an NTP daemon running) have been fixed. The network load graph
doesn't look like a moving blob any more.

About: tcpick is a textmode sniffer that can track TCP streams and saves
the data captured in files or displays them in the terminal. It is useful
for picking files in a passive way. It can store all connections in
different files, or it can display all the stream on the terminal (using
colors too).
Changes: This release adds EXPIRED and RESET status detection. The -td
option displays timestamps with the date. The "u" flag to the "-w" option
enables tcpick to write sniffed data in a unique file. The "b" flag to the
"-w" option enables tcpick to write a banner to the unique file that
introduces server and client data. Minimal UDP support and signal support
with statistics were added. PPP, SLIP, SLIP_BSDOS, and PPP_BSDOS datalink
support were added. Many bugfixes were made.

About: Turkix is a Mandrake-based live Linux distribution. It brings a
new file hierarchy in which the whole file system is cloned under one
single directory called "/all". "/all" has subdirectories like
"/all/Programs/", "/all/System", "/all/ Personal Files" etc. And
"/all/Programs" directory has subfolders like:
"/all/Programs/~programname/ Configuration Files",
"/all/Programs/~programname/ Manuals" etc. Apart from this, Turkix
features a unique control panel, embedded into Konqueror (a kioslave
actually), which is a synthesis of Mandrake Control Center, KDE Control
Center, third party configuration tools, and other additions. The package
management system is rpmx. Other great features are the Linux port of Mac
OS X's Expose, and the graphical installation wizard.
Changes: This release features Control Center cleanups, with a new XP
style interface, updates OpenOffice.org to 1.1.4, adds a few minor
security patches, migrates the wizards to Qt for a better look and feel,

listens on a TCP port and tunnels all connections transparently via an
HTTPS proxy (using the CONNECT command) to the Internet. Another host on

full connectivity when everything except the http proxy is blocked by a
firewall.

About: The Unicode Description Utilities is a set of four programs for
finding out what is in a Unicode file. uniname defaults to printing the
character offset of each character, its byte offset, its hex code value,
its encoding, the glyph itself, and its name. Command line options allow
undesired information to be suppressed and the Unicode range to be added.
unidesc reports the character ranges to which different portions of the
text belong. unihist generates a histogram of the characters in its input.
ExplicateUTF8 is intended for debugging or for learning about Unicode. It
determines and explains the validity of a sequence of bytes as a UTF-8
encoding.
Changes: A fourth program, unihist, was added to the package. Unihist
generates a histogram of the characters in its input.

constructor was producing invalid values. Many of the emitted signals were
simplified by removing arguments that can be handled by SigC::bind.

for personal computers.
