About: basE91 is an advanced method for converting binary data to ASCII
text. It is similar to UUencode or base64, but is much more efficient. The
overhead produced by basE91 amounts at most to 23% (compare to 33% with
base64). Under some rare circumstances (for example, on 0-byte blocks), it
does a real 8-bit to 7-bit conversion, resulting in an overhead of only
14%. This makes it very useful for sending larger files over binary
insecure connections like email or terminal lines.
Changes: A verbose mode was added, and Java-b91enc accepts command line
syntax with only one FILE argument again.

About: flpsed is a WYSIWYG pseudo PostScript editor. "Pseudo", because you
can't remove or modify existing elements of a document. But it does let you
add arbitrary text lines to existing PostScript documents. Added lines can
later be reedited with flpsed. Using pdftops, one can convert PDF
documents to PostScript and also add text to them. flpsed is useful for
filling in forms, adding notes etc.
Changes: The build system has been switched to automake/autoconf. A
compilation problem on AMD-64 has been fixed. A background color problem

About: phpThumb() is a flexible thumbnail generator. The output can be
larger or smaller than the source, an entire image or cropped section,
with or without configurable borders and/or a background color. The source
can be a local file, a remote file, or a database source. GIF reading is
supported with or without GD support. BMP reading is supported with or
without ImageMagick. Any ImageMagick-supported format can be used as a
source if ImageMagick is available. Watermarking, unsharp mask sharpening,
and caching are available. EXIF thumbnails can be extracted and/or used for
large-source support.

About: Tito measures traffic on a specific IPs. It only works if you
forward traffic via iptables. The program draws graphics, has skins for
the Web interface, and is easy to install. The skins are simply CSS files,
and sample skins are available.
Changes: Bulgarian README and INSTALL files were added. The source code
was refined. The traffic to the server hosting TiTo is no longer counted.
rc.tito was greatly improved. The author's personal information was
updated. The database files now are in the separate /stats/database/
folder. A "TOTAL" traffic field was added in the graphic. The bug report
system was improved. The HTML center align was fixed for Mozilla. The
ability to check for updates was added. Several serious bugs were fixed.

services is planned. Tunapie allows you to search for streams and then

access to any data stream (even over HTTP), and gives a clear
differentiation between read only and read/write access. It features the

About: XOM is an XML object model. It is a tree-based API for processing
XML with Java that simultaneously supports streaming. In many use-cases,
it can process arbitrarily large documents with effectively constant
memory sizes. It strives for correctness, simplicity, and performance, in
that order. XOM supports XSLT, Canonical XML, and XInclude.
Changes: The primary addition is workarounds for several more Crimson bugs
in the handling of the internal DTD subset. A few small optimizations were
made. A few bugs in XPath were fixed. Java 1.4 or later is required due to
some changes in the underlying Jaxen XPath engine. This is intended to be a
temporary situation, and compatibility with Java versions as old as 1.2
will be restored later.
