 rpm -q mozilla-j2re
package mozilla-j2re is not installed

/var/cache/apt/archives/mozilla-j2re_1.4.2-11.1.fc3.rf_i586.rpm

As you can see, it is not installed.  The version in the apt archives was the 
one which caused, I believe, the problem.
