thunderbird-1.0-2 SRPM / install error

I notice that you have a resolution to the rpm install error with
thunderbird.  I'm new to Linux and I'm trying to install the rpm on a Red
Hat Enterprise 4 AS server.  My question is how do I incorporate your fix
into my rpm?
