The one from Extras doesn't seem to be compiled with portaudio support, and therefore can't use ALSA for input (as far as I know,). So, I figured I'd give yours a try but I keep getting this: audacity: Depends: libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0 but it is not installable Depends: libwx_gtk-2.4.so.0(WXGTK_2.4) but it is not installable Depends: wxGTK (>=2.4.0) but it is not installable even though wxGTK from Extras is installed. Here are my questions: has anyone else noticed that Audacity won't record in FC4, and can this be remedied by using the RPMforge version? Thanks, -P
