Broken dependencies in Perl-Video-DVDRip, transcode segfault

Hello, I'm using Dag/RPMforge's apt-0.5.15cnc6-4.2.fc4.rf with its
default sources, and when I attempt to do an 'apt-get install
perl-Video-DVDRip' I get an unresolved dependency for vcdimager. 

This can be fixed if I add in the Fedora.us "extras" apt source from
fc3, but then transcode segfaults right around these messages when
using ffmpeg as the codec:

[decode_mpeg2.c] libmpeg2 0.4.0b loop decoder
[decode_mpeg2.c] libmpeg2 acceleration: mmxext

Is this a known problem? Is there someplace I should submit a more
detailed report?

FWIW, atrpms' version of transcode also crashes but in a slightly
different location..
