No. Selected the i586 version from the Sun site.

Firefox has it's own plugins directory. Only file in it is libnullplugin.so
Only files in the mozilla plugins directory are
mozplugger.so
nphelix.so
nphelix.xpt
Message I got from the rpm installer:
package jre-1.5.0_04-fcs (which is newer than jre-1.5.0_01-fcs) is
already installed
package jre-1.5.0_01-fcs is already installed

Went to http://www.jpackage.org/ but don't have a clue what you are talking
about.
